A three-dimensional human neural cell culture model

I was reading an article on the three-dimensional human neural cell culture model developed by a group of Harvard Medical School. They could replicate Alzheimer’s disease using this model in combination with neural progenitor cells derived from iPS cells of patients with Alzheimer’s disease.

We can potentially replicate this using neural progenitor cells derived from iPS cells of patients with Wolfram syndrome. This system is so useful because we can test potential treatments in the dish. We may be able to create Wolfram syndrome in a dish, and test multiple therapies in these cells.

Thank you for reading this blog. I read all the emails from you and try to respond to them as soon as I can. Thank you for your faith in me.
