I had a chance to participate in the Wolfram UK information day yesterday.It was a great experience. Dr. Barrett provided us with a lot of useful information.I learned a lot about multidisciplinary clinics for Wolfram. In addition to pediatric Wolfram clinic, there are transitional and adult clinics for Wolfram in the UK. I met with the director of their adult clinic and learned about the importance of it. My colleague and friend, Stephanie Snow Gebel introduced our fundraising efforts in the US.
I gave a lecture in the morning and hosted three Q&A sessions in the afternoon. I learned more about the disease and what our patients wanted. It was a fruitful day. I would like to thank all the people who invited me, including Tracy Lynch, Paul Lynch, Alan Nye, and Rachel at WellChild. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
